The Seminar was once again hugely successful.
Here are a few comments made by members at the end of the two days:
John Casey works at Portmeirion and is due to retire
in May. John has previously worked at Biltons and Mintons.
He had been told that the seminar was worth attending by people who had attended
previously, and he said that he had thoroughly enjoyed the 2 days.
John added that the new information that he had received would prove very useful
during his retirement.
Joan Barber was made redundant from Wedgwood
in May 2006 after 32 years service, she officially retires in April.
She said that she had found the seminar informative and it was held in a very
friendly atmosphere. She added that this is what she expected because
people from previous seminars had told her.
Joan and John also made comments on the excellent
lunches.
A lady attending with her husband said that she had
been to a similar retirement seminar at her own place of work, but felt that
ours was much more down to earth, friendly and easy to understand.
